Biography
Representative Darrell Atchison, a Republican, represents Carter and Ripley counties, and parts of Wayne and Butler counties, (District 153) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2020.
In addition to his legislative duties, Atchison is a financial advisor with Modern Woodmen of America. He retired at a rank of Major from the National Guard after 23 years of service.
Born in St. Louis, Atchison moved to Williamsville at age 12 and graduated from Poplar Bluff High School. He attended Three Rivers College and Tarkio College, where he obtained a degree in business management.
Atchison resides in Williamsville with his wife, Joanna. He is a member of the Williamsville Lions Club and Fellowship General Baptist Church.
