Biography
Rep. Sara Walsh, a Republican, represents parts of Boone, Cole, Cooper and Moniteau counties (District 50) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected in a special election in August, 2017.
Previously, Rep. Walsh worked as Member Services Coordinator for the Missouri Pharmacy Association, Staff Auditor for the Missouri State Auditor’s Office, Programs and Outreach Manager for the National Newspaper Association, Legislator Assistant for the Missouri House of Representatives, Administrative Assistant/Veterans Certifying Official for Columbia College, Quality Control Inspector for Maytag, and as a Deli Worker for Moser’s Foods in Holts Summit.
Rep. Walsh earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Columbia College, and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs with a specialization in Nonprofit Management/Public Management from the Truman School of Public Affairs at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Rep. Walsh was born in Torrance, California, moved to Missouri in 1986, and resides in Ashland with her husband, Steve Walsh.
