AN ACT

To amend chapter 208, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to physician reimbursement under the MO HealthNet program.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 208, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 208.198, to read as follows:

            208.198. Subject to appropriations, the department of social services shall establish a rate for the reimbursement of physicians, optometrists, podiatrists, and psychologists for services rendered to patients under the MO HealthNet program which provides equal reimbursement for the same or similar services rendered.
