Biography
Representative Dan Shaul, a Republican, represents parts of Barnhart, Arnold, Kimmswick and Imperial in Jefferson County (District 113) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2014.
Prior to his legislative duties, Rep. Shaul has been the state director of the Missouri Grocers Association since 2006. Before becoming the state director, he was the director of Mid-America Grocers Association in St. Louis. He also served in the United States Air Force until he was honorably discharged from active duty under the troop reduction act of 1990.
Rep. Shaul serves as a board member on the Windsor School Board of Education, the Food Marketing Industry Government Relations Committee and the National Grocers Association, where he was recognized with the “Association Leadership Award.” He also served as a past chairman of the board for Food Industry Association Executives.
Rep Shaul is a 1987 graduate of Lindbergh High School in St. Louis. He earned an associate’s degree in Aviation from Park College in 1992.
Rep. Shaul was born in St. Louis. He currently resides in Imperial with his wife Kim, and their three children, Matthew, Emily, and Sarah.
