Biography
Rep. Tracy McCreery, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis County (District 88) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2014. She previously served one year in the House after being elected in the 2011 Special Election.
Prior to her legislative duties, Rep. McCreery was a district aide and a volunteer coordinator for state Senator Joan Bray and served in the administration of Governor Bob Holden. She has held positions in sales, sales training and management in the pharmaceutical, telecommunications and health care industries.
Rep. McCreery is a founding member of the Consumers Council of Missouri. She is a former board chair with Safe Connections and a former president of Olivette in Bloom. She also serves her community as a member of the Rescue and Restore Coalition and the Women’s Group on Race Relations. She volunteers with Prison Performing Arts. She was a big sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri and a former PROMO PAC member.
Rep. McCreery is a 1985 graduate of Edison High School in Milan, Ohio. She received her B.S.B.A. in Marketing in 1989 from the Ohio State University.
Rep. McCreery was born December 26, 1966 in Norwalk, Ohio. She and her husband Thom Wham currently reside in Olivette, Missouri.
