Representative Annette M. Turnbaugh, a Democrat, represents Jackson and Cass County (District 37) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2020.

In addition to her legislative duties, Turnbaugh is a real estate agent. She previously spent 26 years with the Jackson County Advocate newspaper, a family-owned business.

Born in Kansas City, Turnbaugh graduated from Grandview High School and attended college at Longview Community College. She is a member of the Grandview Historical Society, VFW 8100 Auxiliary and the Grandview Lions Club. Rep. Turnbaugh previously held the position of Alderman on the Grandview City Council from 2010-2021.
