Biography
Rep. Ron Hicks, a Republican, represents St. Charles County, including parts of O’Fallon, Lake St. Louis, St. Peters and Wentzville (District 102) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2012 and served until 2016. He was re-elected to the House for a third term in November 2018.
In addition to his legislative duties, Hicks works in the private sector in a family-owned franchise. Hicks and his wife also work together on their dog-rescue nonprofit “Boxer Paws Rescue” where they’ve worked to find homes for hundreds of dogs.
Hicks likes to be involved in the community that he cherishes and advocates for, whether through his sons’ sporting events or being active in the church community. He is also an avid outdoorsman and strong 2nd Amendment advocate who enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, and hiking with his family.
As an elected official, Hicks says his goal will always be to stand for every Missourian’s right to life, liberty, and property and that he will always seek to follow the intent of the U.S. Constitution as he advocates for St. Charles County, which he believes is representative of the Heart and Soul of what makes America great.
Hicks graduated from his family’s home school in 1990 in Oceanside, California.
Born in La Jolla, California, Hicks says he has always been a Missourian at heart and currently resides with his wife, Katie, and their two sons, Hunter and Tyler, in Dardenne Prairie.
