Vanduser –Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives Rod Jetton, R-Marble Hill, spent over an hour today touring the local Vanduser Cotton Gin as part of his two week, statewide Agriculture Industries Tour. Speaker Jetton is meeting with local farmers and agri-business professionals to gain a better understanding of their operations and identify ways state government can better serve the agriculture community of Missouri
.
“Most Missourians have no idea what impact cotton has on our economy,” said Speaker Jetton. “This gin is a great example of the diversity of our agriculture industry in Missouri and it’s great to see farmers joining together to make it work.”
