August 22 - Future Farmers of America (FFA) program in Troy, Missouri

Troy –Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives Rod Jetton, R-Marble Hill, spent this afternoon touring Missouri’s largest FFA chapter at the Troy Buchanan High School in Troy, Missouri.

“It was great to see what they are doing in Troy to encourage more young people to get interested in farming,” said Speaker Jetton. “The ground work they do here to teach kids the ins and outs of the agriculture industry is tremendous because many of these kids don’t come from farming backgrounds so without programs like this they would very little chance of getting into agriculture.”
