August 23 - Sydenstricker Genetics in Mexico, Missouri

Mexico –Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives Rod Jetton, R-Marble Hill, spent today in Mexico and Laddonia on his tour of the state to highlight agriculture in Missouri. The highlight of the day’s events was a chance to deliver the first load of corn to Missouri’s newest ethanol plant in Laddonia. The day also included a visit with some local farmers and a tour of Sydenstricker’s Genetics Angus cattle farm and the Mid-America Biofuels facility.

“Today was a great day for Missouri. This plant is why we passed the ethanol bill,” said Speaker Jetton. “Having 70 million dollars invested in rural Missouri is huge, and the ethanol produced along with the dollars this plant will bring into our state will help all Missourians.”
