Salem – The Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives Rod Jetton, R-Marble, toured the Salem Wood Products facility in Salem, Missouri as a part of his Ag Tour around the state. Speaker Jetton’s Ag Tour is set to go throughout the state to draw attention to and highlight one of Missouri’s most vital industries, Agriculture.

“Our natural resources and our hardworking people have ranked Missouri in the top 10 in country for almost every aspect of Agriculture,” said Speaker Jetton. “This tour is about learning what our agriculture producers need to be more competitive in the global economy. I hope to take what I learn from this tour back to my colleagues in the General Assembly and focus our efforts on improving agriculture production in Missouri.”
