Cape Girardeau –Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives Rod Jetton, R-Marble Hill, spent the late afternoon touring Cape Girardeau’s Midwest Grain and Barge facility. Speaker Jetton is in town as part of his two week, statewide agricultural industries tour.

“Agri-Business is one of the most important and fastest growing industries in the entire country,” said Speaker Jetton. “The many facets of the agriculture industry make it difficult for many people fully comprehend. My main goal throughout this tour is to better understand those facets and what all the components of agriculture are so that the legislature and the State of Missouri can do everything possible to highlight those industries and help fill the needs of the agri-business industry.”
