August 21 - Marshall Farms in Charleston, Missouri

Charleston –Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives Rod Jetton, R-Marble Hill, spent a few hours talking with his former employer and owner of Marshall Farms, Eddie Marshall, Jr. as a part of his Ag Tour around the state today. Marshall Farms has been in the same family for nearly three generations and it currently farms on about 12,500 acres.

“It was great to go back and talk with my former boss, Little Eddie, and see what they have done to expand their operation,” said Speaker Jetton. “Things have come a long way since I was using a highboy to spray weeds in high school. The new technology has made the whole operation more efficient and environmentally friendly.”
