August 30 - Laut Hog Farm in Fredericktown Missouri

Fredericktown –Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives Rod Jetton, R-Marble Hill, toured the Laut Hog Farm in Fredericktown as part of this tour of the state to highlight agriculture in Missouri. The tour included a look at their hog operation and lunch with the Laut family and the employees of Laut Hog Farm.

“It is rare to have such a large hog operation like this in Southeast Missouri,” said Speaker Jetton. “I am impressed with their business and how efficiently they run their operation, but I am more impressed with the fact that they have all stayed close to home and work together in the family business.”
