August 24 - American Angus Association in St.
Joseph, Missouri
St. Joseph – Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives
Rod Jetton, R-Marble Hill, spent this morning touring the American
Angus Association in St. Joseph as a part of his state-wide tour to
highlight agriculture in Missouri. The American Angus Association
is the leading beef breed association in the world.
“The work they do here is another great example of blending
technology with traditional farming,” said Jetton. “Cataloging
and documenting the genetics of every Angus cow increases their value
and makes them more desirable because purchasers can be ensured they
are buying quality animals.”
