Rep. Chuck Graham's Bio
REP. CHUCK GRAHAM
Rep. Chuck Graham, a Democrat, represents part of Boone County
(District 24) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
A former community organizer for the Illinois Coalition of Citizens
with Disabilities, Rep. Graham was most recently employed with
the University of Missouri-Columbia as the Missouri Coordinator
for the Americans with Disabilities Act Project. Previously,
he worked in public relations for the executive director of Illinois
Governor=s Council on
Developmental Disabilities.
He is a member of the following organizations: advisory board
member, Columbia Entertainment Company; advisory board member,
Habitat for Humanity; advisory board member, University of Missouri
Department of Environmental Design; chairperson and current legislative
chair, Missouri Assistive Technology Council; Creative Columbia
Committee, Office of Cultural Affairs; Southern Boone Jaycees;
the Muleskinners and Boone County Democratic Central Committee.
Rep. Graham is a past member of the board of directors for Services
for Independent Living and the board of directors and Governmental
Affairs Commission for the National Rehabilitation Association.
A graduate of Louisiana High School, Rep. Graham received a bachelor
of science degree in journalism from the University of Illinois
in 1987. He was named to the University of Illinois ASenior
100" designating him as one of the 100 most outstanding seniors
of 1987 and received the 1995 Missouri Easter Seals Disability
Leadership Award. In 1996, he was honored as one of the 10 most
outstanding young Missourians by the Missouri Jaycees.
Born February 24, 1965, in St. Louis, Rep. Graham currently resides
in Columbia.
