HB 1307 -- Use of Public Funds

This bill prohibits the expenditure of public funds in support
of or opposition to any ballot measure or candidate by any
officer employee or agent of the state of Missouri or any
political subdivision.  This prohibition also includes the
making of public appearances or issuing of press releases
concerning any ballot measure.

Additionally, the bill prohibits any executive department of the
state from developing, printing, or distributing any material in
support of or in opposition to any legislation pending before
the General Assembly without the expressed consent of the
legislation's sponsor.
