HB 822 -- General Assembly Travel Expenses

Co-sponsors:  Gratz, Luetkenhaus

This bill establishes a House Committee on Reimbursement of
Travel Expenses.  The members of the committee are the chair of
the Accounts Committee, the majority and minority floor leaders,
and the majority and minority caucus chairs.  The bill also
establishes a Senate Committee on  Reimbursement of Travel
Expenses.   The members of this committee are the administrative
chair, the majority and minority floor leaders, and the majority
and minority caucus chairs.

For the members of their chamber, each committee is required to
investigate travel expenses to determine that the expenses are
actual and necessary.  Only travel expenses approved by the
committee will be reimbursed.
