COMMITTEE ACTION: Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee
on Correctional and State Institutions by a vote of 8 to 0.
This bill allows the Governor to convey state property currently
being used as a National Guard armory to the City of Webb City.
FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds.*
*Excludes reduction in state's land and buildings in an unknown
amount, but having a current value of approximately $150,000.
PROPONENTS: Supporters say that this bill would provide an
unused National Guard armory in Webb City to the city for the
use as a fire station.
Testifying for the bill were Representative Burton; and the City
Clerk of Webb City.
OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
