HB 1139 -- Public Works

This bill adds to the list of criteria for state agencies to use
when evaluating the qualifications of an architectural,
engineering, or land surveying that the firm:  (1) has
maintained an office in Missouri for at least one year; (2)
requires workers to take a 10-hour OSHA safety course; (3) has a
financial ratio demonstrating capital strength; (4) has
documented ongoing upgrade training; (5) is in compliance with
prevailing wage requirements; (6) has a good record of project
performance; and (7) is in compliance with local community
licensing.
