HCS SB 1329 -- EMERGENCY SERVICES BOARDS SPONSOR: Griesheimer (Sutherland) COMMITTEE ACTION: Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on Local Government by a vote of 16 to 0. This substitute expands the powers and duties of the Warren County Emergency Services Board. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds in FY 2005, FY 2006, and FY 2007. PROPONENTS: Supporters say that the bill will make the board more self-sufficient. Testifying for the bill were Senator Griesheimer; and Warren County Emergency Services Board.
