Current Bill Summary
SCS/SB 827 - This act allows appeals from orders granting or
denying class action certification, provided the court of
appeals, in its discretion, allows such an appeal and the appeal
shall not stay court proceedings unless so ordered by the trial
court or the court of appeals.
This act is similar to SCS/SB 213 (2003).
