Current Bill Summary
SCS/SB 351 - This act changes the procedure in which
parental or guardian consent is noted for the organ donation
process of minors. Current law requires parental or guardian
consent to be noted on the minor's donor card, the application
for the donor's instruction permit or driver's license, or other
document of gift. This act states that parental or guardian
consent can be noted on the permit or license instead of the
application and on the driver's license as the attorney-in-fact.
