Current Bill Summary
SB 398 - This act requires the Governor to replace
appointive officers with successors within thirty days after they
resign or their terms expire. When a Governor is re-elected to a
second term all salaried appointive officers who serve at the
pleasure of the Governor must be re-submitted to the Senate for
the Senate's advice and consent.
