SB 1050 -- Ambulance District Board Members

This bill allows each board member of an ambulance district to receive an attendance fee not to exceed $100 for each board meeting. An additional $50 attendance fee may be paid to the chairman of the board. Limits are set on the number of attendance fees a board member may receive in a month. The secretary and treasurer of the board, if also members of the board, may each receive additional compensation not to exceed $1,000 per calendar year for the performance of their duties. All attendance fees and compensation must be authorized by the board and may not be paid to any member elected before August 28, 2000.
