Biography:
Rep. Mary Nichols, a Democrat, represents St. Louis County (District 72) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2010.

In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Nichols is a residential real estate sales person for Coldwell Banker Gundaker in Maryland Heights. Rep. Nichols also served four terms on the Maryland Heights City Council and two terms as the Maryland Heights Township Committeewoman.

Rep. Nichols received her A.A. from Monticello College in 1969 and her B.S. from Southern Illinois University in 1972. Rep Nichols also received her Teaching Certificate from the State of Illinois in 1972.

Rep. Nichols currently resides in Maryland Heights with her husband, Robert K. Nichols.
