Biography:
Rep. Anne Zerr, a Republican, represents part of St. Charles City (District 065) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Zerr is an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Lindenwood University. Previously she has worked as Executive Director with the St. Charles County Economic Development Council’s Partners for Progress Program; as the Director of Adult and Corporate Admissions for Lindenwood University; Director of Policy Development for the St. Charles County Executive’s Office; and as Manager of the Local Government Leadership Program with East-West Gateway Council of Governments and the University of Missouri – St. Louis. She also has worked as a Crime Prevention Specialist for the St. Charles Police department and Director of Community Relations for St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis.
She has been involved in the following organizations: Metropolitan Parks and Recreation District; St. Charles County Community Assistance Board; St. Charles City CrimeStoppers Board; The Salvation Army Board; St. Charles County Gang Awareness & Prevention Task Force and Community Council of St. Charles County. Rep. Zerr and her family are members of St. Cletus Catholic Parish.
Rep. Zerr has participated in the following programs: Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government; Leadership St. Louis, Vision West St. Charles County; St. Charles County Leadership, Leadership Missouri; and the Delinquency Control Institute, University of Southern California.
A graduate of Maplewood-Richmond Heights High School, Rep. Zerr received a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Lindenwood University. She also received an MBA from Lindenwood as well as a Master’s Degree in Human Service Agency Management.
Born in St. Louis in 1954, Rep. Zerr currently resides in St. Charles with her husband, Michael. They have three children; Katie, Danny and Craig.
