Biography:
Rep. Genise Montecillo, a Democrat, represents part of St Louis County (District 92) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2010.
Rep. Montecillo was a special education teacher who has taught in the Special School District for 24 years.
Rep. Montecillo is a 1981 graduate of Northwest House Springs High School. She graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education, and earned her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
Rep. Montecillo was born in Kirkwood, Missouri on January 6, 1963. She is married to Joseph Montecillo and is the mother to Paul Nappier.
