Biography:
Timothy (“Tim”) W. Jones is the State Representative for the 110th District (Eureka & Wildwood) and a Member of the law firm of Doster Ullom, LLC (Chesterfield). He practices in the Litigation Department, has tried numerous cases to successful verdict and argued successfully before various Courts of Appeal. Tim also represents businesses in the areas of corporate, transactional, real estate and tax assessment appeals. He began his career as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the State of New York.

He was first elected to the General Assembly in November 2006, and re-elected in 2008, 2010 and 2012. In September 2012 he was elected by the members of the House to serve as Speaker of the House for the remainder of the 96th General Assembly. In January 2013, he was elected by the body to continue his service as Speaker of the House for the 97th General Assembly. He previously served as House Majority Floor Leader. During his time in the legislature, he has passed dozens of important pieces of legislation, including the Missouri Health Care Freedom Act.

Tim is a member of the following organizations: Most Sacred Heart Church in Eureka, West St. Louis County Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, St. Louis County Bar Association, Eureka Historical Society, and the Eureka and Chesterfield Chambers of Commerce. He previously served three terms as President of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Eureka.

Tim has been awarded numerous awards including: the Roy F. Essen Outstanding Young Lawyer Award (St. Louis County Bar Association), Freshman Legislator of the Year (Missouri Chamber of Commerce), the Individual Service Award and Business Person of the Year Awards (Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce); the Spirit Award (Eureka Chamber of Commerce), the Lewis & Clark Statesman Award (St. Louis RCGA) and Annual Certificates of Appreciation from the Rockwood School District, Partners in Education Program.

Tim is a 1989 graduate of St. Louis University High School. He received his B.A. with a double major in English and Russian Studies and honors from Fordham University in 1993 and his J.D., with honors, from St. John’s University School of Law in 1996.

Tim resides in Eureka with his wife Suzanne. They have two beautiful daughters: Katherine Sophia and Abigail Elizabeth.
